LAVINGTON coach James Saker says the club won?t let last Saturday?s hefty loss to Wangaratta Rovers derail its momentum on the eve of finals.
The Panthers went down by 55 points to another finals-bound side last weekend after winning four straight games.
But Saker isn?t hitting the panic button ahead of the club?s clash with Myrtleford today.
?We?ve played one bad half of footy in the last month,? Saker said.
?We won?t let that take away momentum.
?We just went away from the basics in the second half last week and it?s a boring message but we need to get back to those basics.
?We need to play in a fashion that can see us win finals.?
Saker said last week?s loss to the Hawks would be a learning curve.
