Walter's Automotive Group of Riverside is offering the grand prize in a $100-per-ticket drawing to benefit Loma Linda University Children's Hospital, a hospital spokesman said.
"Only 1,000 tickets will be sold at $100 per opportunity ticket, with all proceeds benefiting the non-profit Children's Hospital," spokesman Herbert Atienza said in a statement.
The drawing will be held at 2 p.m. Friday Aug. 24 at Walter's Automotive, 3213 Adams St., a receptionist for the dealership said Monday.
Walter's Automotive Group owners Steve and Cathy Kienle are offering as grand prize a choice of a 2012 Audi A4, Audi Q5, Mercedes-Benz GLK350, Mercedes-Benz C250, two Fiats, two Smart cars, or a Sprinter commercial van, Atienza said.
Other prizes to be awarded include a white gold diamond bracelet valued at $2,500 provided by K. Norris Jewelers and a men's Mercedes-Benz Watch, valued at $450, Atienza said.
"This is just another great way to show our support for Children's Hospital, which treats thousands of children every year," Cathy Kienle said. "Our children are the most important treasures. We must take great care of them."
Last year's opportunity drawing raised $73,600 for Loma Linda University Children's Hospital, Atienza said.
"We feel fortunate to be a part of a community that takes care of our children and allows our business to prosper, so we can continue to support Loma Linda University Children?s Hospital," Steve Kienle said. "The prizes are awesome, but even to those who don't win, they will have the satisfaction of knowing that they helped some wonderful kids at Children's Hospital."
For the past 17 years, the Kienles have hosted and staged the Walter's Children's Charity Classic Golf Tournament, which has raised nearly $3 million for Loma Linda University Children's Hospital, Atienza said.
Funds raised from the tournament have supported critical areas at Children's Hospital, including the pediatric hematology/oncology unit, cardiac intensive care unit, the neonatal intensive care unit, and the pediatric intensive care unit, Atienza said.
"We are delighted that the kids at Loma Linda University Children?s Hospital will again benefit from the kindness and generosity of Steve and Cathy Kienle, and the people who are participating in this wonderful opportunity drawing," Children's Hospital administrator Zareh Sarrafian said. "It is with their help, though initiatives like this, that we are able to provide the best care and treatment for our children."
