I have been in the fitness field for over 10 years and have experience in a variety of fields concerning health and wellness. I grew up in athletics, so stepping into this field was natural for me. I have worked as a track and field coach at the collegiate and high school levels. As a graduate student, I taught college courses in weight training, fitness walking, health, basketball and exercise physiology labs. In 2007, I aided the CDC in abstracting articles to produce exercise guidelines for healthy Americans. Over the past 9 years I have been employed with Corporate Sports Unl., where I have been a Wellness Coordinator, Assistant Manager, General Manager and now a Program Manager.
Because I grew up in athletics and being consistently active, it was a natural progression for me to go in the field of Exercise Science. It gave me the opportunity to do something I love and also encourage people in the process. I have a BSEd. in Exercise Science and Health Promotions from the Universityof Memphis and an MS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Southern Mississippi.
